Trade promotion terms and conditions
These terms and conditions govern the trade promotion lottery conducted by SISS Data Services Pty Limited, ABN 13 151 858 203, of PO Box 98, Crows Nest NSW 1585 (the Promoter).
Promotion
The promotion is titled SISS Apple AirPods and is conducted in connection with Days of Knowledge ANZ 2026 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Eligibility
Entry is open to individuals who:
- are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry
- attend Days of Knowledge ANZ 2026 during the promotion period
- complete and submit the online entry form during the promotion period.
Directors, officers, employees and contractors of the Promoter, and their immediate family members, may not enter.
Promotion period
The promotion opens at 9.00 am on 3 September 2026 and closes at 4.00 pm on 4 September 2026, AEST. Entries received after the promotion period will not be accepted.
How to enter
To enter, an eligible entrant must, during the promotion period:
- scan the QR code provided by the Promoter at the event, or otherwise access the event landing page
- complete all required fields in the online entry form
- submit the completed form.
Entry is free. Any cost associated with accessing the landing page or submitting the form, including internet access charges, is the entrant’s responsibility. One entry per person is permitted unless the Promoter states otherwise in promotional material. Duplicate, incomplete, illegible, automated or fraudulent entries may be disqualified.
Prize
There is one prize only: one pair of Apple AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, with an approximate recommended retail value of AUD 299.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Draw details
The draw will take place on 8 September 2026 at 10.00 am AEST at SISS Data Services, PO Box 98, Crows Nest NSW 1585.
The winner will be selected at random from all valid eligible entries received during the promotion period. Each valid entry will have a random and equal chance of being drawn.
Entrants do not need to be present at the draw to be eligible to win.
Winner notification
The winner will be notified in writing by email, and by SMS or phone where those details are provided in the entry form, within two business days after the draw.
Prize claim and delivery
The winner must respond to the Promoter within 14 days of notification to arrange delivery of the prize. The prize will be delivered to the winner within 28 days after the draw. The winner must not incur any more than a trivial cost to accept the prize.
Unclaimed prize redraw
If the winner cannot be identified, cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts, is found to be ineligible, or does not claim the prize within 14 days, the Promoter may conduct a second draw.
Any second draw will take place on 24 September 2026 at 10.00 am AEST. The replacement winner will be notified in writing using the contact details provided in the entry form.
Prize substitution
If the prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may substitute the prize with a prize of the same or greater value, subject to any applicable legal requirements. Where required, the Promoter will seek the winner’s written agreement.
Verification and disqualification
The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and the identity, age and eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or engages in misleading, deceptive, fraudulent or otherwise improper conduct.
Privacy and marketing consent
By entering, each entrant acknowledges that the Promoter will collect personal information including name, email address, phone number, company name and any other information submitted in the entry form for the purposes of:
- administering this promotion
- contacting entrants about the promotion and prize
- maintaining the Promoter’s records
- any other purpose expressly stated at the point of collection or in the Promoter’s privacy policy.
If the Promoter wishes to use entrant information for marketing or promotional communications beyond administering this promotion, that use will be clearly disclosed at the point of entry and, where required, the entrant’s consent will be obtained.
Entrant information will not be used for purposes other than those stated in these terms and conditions, the entry form and the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at acsiss.com.au/privacy-policy.
Liability
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies any consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter is not responsible for:
- late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible or misdirected entries
- technical malfunction, network failure or other issue affecting entry transmission
- theft, unauthorised access or third party interference
- any tax liability incurred by the winner in connection with the prize.
General
The Promoter reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the promotion if it cannot be conducted as planned for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, including technical failure, tampering, unauthorised intervention or force majeure.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
